Too little chlorine and your pool will go green, too much will irritate your eyes, skin and leave a taste in the water.

Cleaning systems

Most swimming pools have a cleaning point where a tube can be attached to vacuum clean the bottom of your swimming pool.

Automatic cleaning systems cut down on maintenance time. With only a small bag to empty one a week, rather than unreeling tubes and vacuuming the whole pool. If used constantly on a timed basis, this will keep your pool cleaner and always ready for use.

Salt systems

Salt systems use electrolysis to change salt in the water into a natural form of chlorine. This form of chlorine does not contain any of the chemical additives which irritate eyes and skin.

Do Salt systems taste and feel like the sea?

The ocean has about 20,000 parts per million (ppm) of salt in the water, while a saltwater swimming pool has only about 3000 parts per million of salt.  At 3000 ppm, you generally cannot even taste the salt. Any water under 6000 ppm is still considered fresh water. Your eye contains about 9000 ppm of salt.
