Although we have lovely hot summers here on the Costa Blanca the winter is still relatively cold and more and more people are finding central heating of one form or anther a must.

Radiators are the most cost effective way of heating your property with most houses having an under build to run all the pipe work in. All central heating systems use a boiler to heat the radiator. Typically boilers burn gas or oil to heat water, Modern boilers known as ‘condensing boilers’, do this in the most efficient way possible. Some boilers i.e. ‘Combi’ boilers also provide you with instantaneous hot water to your taps, whereas others ‘System’ or ‘Open Vent’ boilers are connected to a hot water cylinder and heats your water for your taps via the cylinder.

Use a cylinder as the advantage of being able to have under floor heating. Under floor heat is mainly installed in new properties or when new flooring is being laid. Under floor heating works at much lower temptures than radiators heating the floor not the air inside the house giving you a lasting heat, as under floor heat works at lower temptures it is possible to add solar panels to your system to increase its efficiency and cut down on cost.
